📋 Description

• As a Software Engineer (Java) at SonarSource, you will play a key role in advancing SonarQube Cloud and SonarQube Server, the leading platforms for AI code review and verification, ensuring software generated by AI-assisted developers is reliable, secure, and maintainable.
• Day to day, you will design, develop, and implement new features for SonarQube products, work within short iteration loops to see your code deployed to production, and collaborate with global engineering teams to uphold high standards of code quality and security.
• You will join a globally distributed engineering team operating across hubs in Singapore, Austin, Bochum, Dubai, Geneva, London, Tokyo, and Washington D.C., united by the CODE mindset: Committed, Obsessed with quality, Deliberate, and Effective as one team.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Java-based backend systems, contribute to cutting-edge AI-driven software verification tools, and have a direct impact on products used by over 75% of the Fortune 100, accelerating your growth as a engineer at the forefront of the AI software revolution.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java programming language
• Experience building scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with software quality, code analysis, or security concepts
• Ability to work collaboratively in agile, fast-paced engineering teams
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Comfort working in a global, distributed team environment
