📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend components for Verified Autonomous Remediation, enabling AI-generated code to be automatically fixed with high reliability and trust.
• Build production-grade features that transform research prototypes into scalable, enterprise-ready solutions for SonarQube and SonarQube Foundation Agent.
• Collaborate within a high-performing engineering team to test, validate, and verify AI-generated code fixes, ensuring they meet strict quality, security, and maintainability standards.
• Integrate with AI code assistants including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and Devin to provide context-aware, explainable remediation suggestions.
• Contribute to the architecture of SonarSweep and Sonar Context Augmentation to deliver enterprise-grade constraints and context that improve agent effectiveness.
• Ensure all code remediation logic is consistent, auditable, and compliant with industry standards used by Fortune 100 customers such as Nvidia, Goldman Sachs, AstraZeneca, and Ford Motor Company.
• Optimize performance and scalability of backend systems handling over 400,000 enterprise deployments globally.
• Work closely with product and research teams to translate technical requirements into robust, reliable software that closes the “Trust Gap” in AI-assisted development.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning with a globally distributed team across Geneva, Austin, Bochum, London, Singapore, Tokyo, and Washington D.C.
• Maintain and improve the reliability of SonarQube, the world’s leading AI code review and verification platform, to reduce outages caused by AI-generated code by up to 44%.
• Implement automated testing and monitoring systems to ensure zero regressions in remediation accuracy and performance.
• Document technical designs, APIs, and workflows to support cross-team alignment and knowledge sharing across global engineering hubs.

• Proficient in Java for building scalable backend systems
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar
