📋 Description
- • Software Engineer (Java, SQL Server) role focused on maintaining and enhancing Java and SQL Server-based platforms, optimizing backend services, and supporting cloud-ready architecture initiatives for federal systems.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining and refactoring Java applications, designing RESTful APIs with Spring Boot, optimizing complex SQL Server stored procedures, conducting code reviews, implementing tests, and supporting cloud migration efforts.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or equivalent experience
- • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend focus
- • 5+ years of Java development including REST APIs using Spring Framework or Spring Boot
- • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server including complex stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning
- • 2+ years of experience with JPA, Hibernate, or equivalent ORM technologies
- • 1+ year of experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- • Experience with Docker containerization
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
- • Must reside in and perform work within the United States
- • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)
