- • Architect, design, and implement software applications that power internal servicing tools and customer support workflows for millions of customers
- • Build new features end to end, including early stage 0 to 1 initiatives supporting customer servicing and operations teams
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product, and external vendors to deliver scalable integrations and tooling
- • Solve complex, real-world problems involving large-scale money movement and sensitive financial data
- • Create and maintain clear technical documentation to support a growing, distributed engineering organization
- • Work within a microservice-oriented architecture running on Kubernetes and AWS using Node.js and TypeScript with the NestJS framework
- • Contribute to the development of internal platforms that enable customer support and operational workflows across banking, high-yield savings, credit cards, point-of-sale lending, investing, and crypto services
- • Engage in the full software development lifecycle from ideation and prototyping to deployment and maintenance of critical servicing systems
- • Ensure systems handling financial transactions adhere to security standards and compliance requirements
- • Operate with urgency and autonomy, owning problems end to end while mentoring others and maintaining a high bar for execution
- • Support a remote-first, US-based engineering team focused on delivering embedded financial services to employees and frontline workers through employer and gig platform partnerships
- • Participate in a standard interview process including initial talent partner screening, technical/hiring manager interview, team interview, and executive interview
- • Work in an environment that values low ego, high execution, and mission-driven impact within a fintech platform backed by Walmart and Ribbit Capital
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in fintech, banking, or consumer technology
- • Experience building, shipping, and scaling customer-facing or internal platform products
- • Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and microservices
- • Familiarity with banking systems, financial transactions, APIs, and security standards
- • Ability to work independently with a high bar for execution, including mentoring others and owning problems end to end
- • Drive and proactivity — demonstrated as a builder and executor
