  • • As a Solution Engineer at Tanium, you will play a critical role in helping the world’s largest organizations achieve unprecedented visibility and control over complex IT environments by bridging technical expertise with customer needs.
  • • You will work directly with sales teams from initial discovery to deal close, leading technical discussions, delivering product demonstrations, and driving Proof of Value (POV) engagements that showcase Tanium’s enterprise operations and security platform.
  • • You will act as the technical translator between customer business challenges and Tanium’s solutions, ensuring alignment between tactical sales efforts and strategic account goals while partnering with field engineering, product, marketing, and customer success teams.
  • • Your role includes presenting to stakeholders ranging from VP-level executives to end-user technicians, participating in regional marketing events, and contributing to sales and channel enablement through training and collaboration.
  • • You will be expected to travel 30-50% of the time to engage with customers and prospects in person, building and maintaining strong relationships throughout the sales lifecycle.

  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise security and IT operations, refine your consultative selling and presentation skills, and grow as a trusted advisor influencing multi-million-dollar deals.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4+ years of operational and/or selling experience in endpoint operations or security
  • • 2+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer support positions
  • • Significant software pre-sales or value-based technical selling experience in large enterprise environments
  • • Experience presenting to audiences ranging from VP-level executives to end-user technicians
  • • Demonstrated track record of taking ownership of complex initiatives and delivering successful outcomes
  • • Broad knowledge of IT security, operations, and compliance landscapes
  • • Hands-on experience in one or more of: Endpoint Security, IT Operations Management, or Regulatory Compliance
  • • BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience
