- • As a Solution Engineer at Tanium, you will play a critical role in helping the world’s largest organizations achieve unprecedented visibility and control over complex IT environments by bridging technical expertise with customer needs.
- • You will work directly with sales teams from initial discovery to deal close, leading technical discovery meetings, delivering platform demonstrations, and driving Proof of Value (POV) engagements that translate customer business challenges into tailored technical solutions.
- • You will partner with field engineering, product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure technical effectiveness and consistent customer experience throughout the sales lifecycle, while acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders ranging from VPs to technical users.
- • You will develop deep expertise in Tanium’s enterprise security and operations platform, sharpen your consultative selling and presentation skills, and contribute to improving sales effectiveness through field feedback and participation in regional marketing events and training initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of operational and/or selling experience in endpoint operations or security
- • 2+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer support positions
- • Significant software pre-sales or value-based technical selling experience in large enterprise environments
- • Experience presenting to audiences ranging from VP-level executives to end-user technicians
- • BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- • Demonstrated track record of taking ownership of complex initiatives and delivering successful outcomes

- • Competitive annual base salary range of $119,000 to $183,000, plus commission eligibility
