- • As a Solution Sales Executive - Operational Risk Management at Sphera Holdings, Inc., you will drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in enterprise software solutions focused on Operational Risk Management (ORM), Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), and sustainability. This role is critical to Sphera’s mission of creating a safer, more sustainable, and productive world by helping global organizations manage risk, ensure compliance, and improve operational performance through innovative software.
- • You will own the full sales cycle for enterprise accounts, from initial prospecting and qualification to negotiation, contract closure, and post-sale relationship management. Your day-to-day activities will include executing against annual sales targets, hunting new business through cold calling, industry events, and trade shows, qualifying opportunities by uncovering customer pain points, delivering executive-level presentations on Sphera’s value proposition, developing software license proposals, negotiating complex contracts, maintaining accurate sales forecasts, and collaborating cross-functionally with Account Managers and internal teams to ensure customer success and alignment with strategic goals.

- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in selling complex enterprise software within the ORM, EHS, and compliance domains, refine advanced consultative selling and negotiation skills, and build a track record of closing large, strategic deals. You’ll gain exposure to global markets, work alongside seasoned professionals in a matrixed organization, and have the opportunity to grow into broader leadership or specialist roles within Sphera’s expanding sales organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 5+ years of proven success selling enterprise software and technology solutions to Global 2000 organizations
- • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas in complex, competitive sales environments
- • Strong understanding of Operational Risk Management (ORM) concepts including risk identification and assessment, incident management, internal controls, audits, and regulatory compliance
- • Proven hunter skills with experience in cold calling, conference participation, and trade show engagement to generate new business
- • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience managing accurate sales forecasts
- • Experience selling into risk, EHS, compliance, or governance functions is highly preferred
- • Demonstrated success in closing large, complex deals through creative deal making and strategic use of sales channels and partners
- • Ability to thrive in team-oriented, heavily matrixed organizations with strong relationship management skills
