Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the entire pre-sales technical cycle for prospects across APAC—from first discovery call through signed contract—translating complex global employment, payroll, and compliance challenges into clear, compelling Remote solutions that accelerate deal velocity and expand average contract value.
- • Become the prospect’s most trusted advisor by running deep discovery workshops that uncover hidden pain points around entity set-up, contractor misclassification, benefits harmonization, and multi-country payroll; map these pains to Remote’s product capabilities and craft tailored ROI models that resonate with CFOs, CHROs, and Heads of Legal.
- • Architect and deliver live product demonstrations that showcase Remote’s Employer of Record, Contractor Management, Global Payroll, and HRIS platform in the context of each prospect’s unique workforce footprint, compliance obligations, and growth roadmap; weave in customer success stories and benchmark data to quantify risk reduction and cost savings.
- • Build and maintain a library of reusable demo environments, battle cards, and objection-handling scripts specifically tuned for APAC regulatory nuances (e.g., India labour codes, Singapore CPF, Australia STP, Japan social insurance) so that every AE can pitch with confidence and consistency.
- • Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Compliance teams to design custom migration plans that de-risk transitions from legacy vendors or in-house setups; produce detailed Statements of Work, data-mapping spreadsheets, and phased rollout timelines that secure executive sign-off.
- • Influence the product roadmap by funneling field intelligence back to Engineering and Compliance—identify gaps in local statutory coverage, currency support, or integration endpoints and advocate for features that will unlock new verticals or geographies.
- • Run proof-of-concept pilots with prospects’ HRIS, ATS, and ERP systems (Workday, BambooHR, Netsuite, SAP) ensuring flawless data flows, user provisioning, and audit trails; document technical requirements and success criteria so that post-sale onboarding teams can execute a seamless hand-off.
- • Deliver enablement sessions to Account Executives and Partner Managers on emerging APAC regulations, competitive differentiation, and advanced demo techniques; measure lift in win rate and sales cycle reduction after each training cycle.
- • Represent Remote at virtual and in-person industry events, webinars, and customer advisory boards across APAC; deliver thought-leadership content that positions Remote as the definitive authority on distributed work compliance.
- • Track and report on key pre-sales metrics—demo-to-close conversion, average deal size uplift, and time-to-produce-custom-scoping—using Salesforce, Gong, and Tableau dashboards; iterate weekly on tactics to exceed quarterly ARR targets.
- • Champion Remote’s asynchronous, documentation-first culture by writing concise post-mortems, demo scripts, and architecture decision records in Notion and Slack so that global teammates can learn and contribute 24/7.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of solutions consulting, sales engineering, or implementation consulting experience within HR tech, fintech, or SaaS environments serving mid-market or enterprise clients.
- • Demonstrated fluency in APAC employment law, payroll regulations, and statutory benefits across at least three major markets (e.g., Australia, Singapore, India, Japan, South Korea).
- • Proven ability to run consultative discovery, build ROI models, and deliver technical demos that close deals exceeding USD $100k ARR.
- • Strong working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, SSO (SAML/OIDC), and common HRIS/ERP integrations; comfortable reading logs and troubleshooting data flows.
- • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills in English; fluency in an additional APAC language (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, or Hindi) is a strong plus.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Work from anywhere in APAC with a flexible, asynchronous schedule and annual travel stipend for team meet-ups.
- • Competitive compensation package including stock options, performance bonus, and remote-first equipment allowance.
- • 20 days paid vacation plus local public holidays, Remote recharge Fridays (half-days once a month), and a generous parental leave policy.
- • Annual learning & development budget (USD $3,000) plus paid certifications for employment law, solution consulting, and cloud architecture.
