- • As a Solutions Consultant for the Public Sector at Ramp, you will serve as the primary technical and financial advisor for government agencies, educational institutions, and nonprofits evaluating Ramp’s platform, guiding them through complex procurement and compliance landscapes while demonstrating how Ramp modernizes financial workflows at scale.
- • You will lead technical discovery sessions, design secure and scalable solutions using Ramp’s APIs and integrations, deliver tailored demos for finance and procurement teams, support RFP responses, align solutions with FedRAMP, SOC 2, HIPAA, and CJIS standards, collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams, and enable seamless post-sale implementations with Customer Success—acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader in public sector finance modernization.
- • Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating over $100B in annualized spend across 50,000+ companies by authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books—helping customers save 5% and grow revenue 16% in their first year through high-agency, high-urgency problem-solving.
- • You will join a mission-driven team where everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end, makes consequential decisions, and shapes outcomes—valuing slope over intercept and prioritizing what you’ve built over where you trained.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in public sector SaaS sales cycles, financial systems integration, and enterprise security compliance while influencing product roadmap through direct customer insights and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams.
- • You will develop advanced skills in technical storytelling, executive stakeholder engagement, and solution architecture for regulated environments, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who bridges complex government needs with innovative financial technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5-7 years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Architecture at a SaaS or fintech company
- • Strong background in financial systems, accounting workflows, and ERP integrations
- • Hands-on expertise with API integrations, SFTP configurations, and security protocols
- • Experience supporting public sector organizations with working knowledge of procurement processes, compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, SOC 2, HIPAA, CJIS), and IT/security requirements
- • Ability to influence and present to executive stakeholders across technical and business functions
- • Proven success navigating long, multi-stakeholder sales/adoption cycles
- • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, finance, or a related field
