Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Partner with Account Executives to shape deal strategy through technical discovery, storytelling, and defining the path to customer selection.
- • Build and deliver customized product demonstrations using the prospect’s own bioprocess data and workflows to illustrate tangible value and alignment with their operational needs.
- • Design and facilitate technical workshops and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements that validate product fit, uncover hidden pain points, and cultivate internal champions among scientific and IT teams.
- • Establish technical credibility with senior stakeholders including Process Development, Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT), and IT leadership by speaking their language and addressing system-specific challenges.
- • Translate customer feedback on workflow gaps, data integration hurdles, and compliance needs into actionable product insights for the Product team.
- • Develop reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and technical assets that enable the broader CX team to scale customer engagements efficiently.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to define and evolve the Solutions Engineering function at Invert, shaping best practices as the company grows.
- • Engage with complex, high-frequency bioprocess data systems including bioreactor historians, LIMS, lab informatics platforms, and cloud-based data infrastructures to map data flows and identify integration points.
- • Conduct technical discovery calls to understand prospect IT landscapes, data silos, and legacy system constraints, then articulate how Invert’s AI agent resolves these issues.
- • Navigate regulated environments common in biopharma manufacturing, demonstrating how Invert supports audit readiness, data integrity, and compliance requirements.
- • Adapt messaging dynamically during customer interactions to address technical objections, competitive comparisons, and in-house build hesitations with compelling, data-driven narratives.
- • Prepare and present technical content that bridges the gap between scientific experimentation and manufacturing decision-making, showing how real-time deviation detection impacts product quality and cost.
- • Drive pilot program success by guiding customers through onboarding, data ingestion, and initial use case validation to ensure rapid value realization.
- • Continuously refine demo scenarios based on recurring customer use cases, ensuring the CX team has access to the most relevant and high-impact demonstrations.
- • Work independently and autonomously across multiple simultaneous customer engagements while maintaining a high standard of technical accuracy and customer focus.
- • Represent Invert as a trusted technical advisor in pre-sales cycles, often being the first point of contact for deep technical questions from scientific and IT decision-makers.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–8 years in pre-sales at a B2B SaaS company (SE, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect)
- • Scientific or regulated-industry SaaS background — bioprocess, LIMS, lab informatics, manufacturing data, or similar
- • Ability to sell with stories, adapt in customer calls, and read nuance
- • Comfort across the stack: APIs, data schemas, historians, bioreactor data systems, cloud data infrastructure
- • Track record of winning deals against in-house builds and entrenched incumbents
- • B.S. in a STEM field
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary, meaningful equity, full benefits
- • Fully remote, US and European time zones
- • Frequent team off-sites
