📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between Diagrid’s sales team and prospective customers, understanding their distributed system challenges and designing tailored solutions using Dapr and Diagrid technologies.
• Conduct live customer demos and build Proof of Concept (PoC) solutions in multiple programming languages to demonstrate the value of Diagrid’s open-source tools in real-world scenarios.
• Engage with customers deploying Dapr in both brownfield and greenfield applications, guiding them through onboarding, architecture design, and integration with existing cloud-native infrastructure.
• Provide expert architecture guidance on cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, service meshes, and multi-cloud deployment patterns to help customers build scalable, secure, and portable applications.
• Collect, synthesize, and prioritize customer feedback on product usability, feature gaps, and pain points, translating insights into actionable user stories for the product and engineering teams.
• Collaborate closely with product managers to influence product roadmap decisions based on direct customer interactions and real-world usage patterns.
• Work across diverse technical environments, meeting customers where they are—whether using Java, .NET, Go, Node.js, or Python—and helping them adopt cloud-native and open-source practices without disrupting existing workflows.
• Partner with the sales team to validate technical feasibility of opportunities, remove adoption blockers, and accelerate deal cycles through technical credibility and hands-on support.
• Act as the internal voice of the customer, regularly sharing insights with leadership on emerging customer needs, competitive dynamics, and strategic opportunities in the cloud-native ecosystem.
• Contribute to Diagrid’s technical content by creating documentation, tutorials, and reference architectures based on customer engagements and common use cases.
• Stay current with advancements in open-source projects like Dapr, KEDA, Kubernetes, and Envoy, and leverage this knowledge to advise customers on best practices and future-proof their architectures.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives with engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and long-term product adoption.
• Travel may be required for customer site visits, industry events, and team gatherings, though the role is primarily remote and flexible.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Developer Advocate, or similar technical customer-facing role
• Solid developer experience in at least one of Java, .NET, or Go
• Good experience with Node.js and Python
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container-based systems
• Excellent customer engagement and communication skills
• Solid understanding of computer science principles with a focus on distributed systems
