Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As the first Solutions Engineer on the pre-sales side at Starbridge Systems, you will own technical solutioning for high-value prospects, working closely with Account Executives to win strategic deals by building tailored trial environments, leading technical demos, and translating product feedback into roadmap impact.
- • Day to day, you will build and configure custom Starbridge trial accounts based on prospect use cases, lead the technical portions of customer demos including CRM and API integrations, gather and advocate for customer feedback to influence product development, enable AEs on new product releases, and help define the processes and rituals for this newly formed function.
- • Starbridge Systems is a fast-moving, customer-centric B2B SaaS company focused on helping customers win through speed, collaboration, and a culture where fun is a feature. You’ll join a growing team where your role will directly shape how technical and sales teams partner on the most valuable deals in the pipeline.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in Starbridge’s product and SaaS solutioning, strengthen your consultative and communication skills with technical and executive stakeholders, influence product direction through customer insights, and grow as a foundational member of a new pre-sales function with clear impact on win rates, trial conversion, and deal velocity.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or sales engineering at a B2B SaaS company, or in a closely adjacent role such as implementation engineer, technical CSM, or deployment lead where you owned the technical side of customer wins.
- • Ability to quickly learn and configure any SaaS platform’s data model, with a strong inclination to debug integrations and automate workflows rather than repeat manual tasks.
- • Consultative mindset: you ask questions before building, avoid demoing without context, and ensure technical solutions align with actual customer needs.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging CIOs, procurement directors, and end users in the same call and writing clear, actionable product feedback briefs for engineering teams.
- • AI-forward orientation: you actively test new AI models against your workflows and prefer automating repetitive tasks.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary + early-stage equity
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
- • Company-provided lunch in the office every day
- • 75% coverage of Chelsea Piers Fitness membership
- • Unlimited PTO
- • Regular offsites in NYC and global locations
