📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise prospects evaluating Lakera’s AI security platform, translating customer needs into tailored solutions using Check Point's AI Defense Plane.
• Architect and demonstrate technical implementations that secure AI stacks and enable cutting-edge AI use cases for customers across Fortune 500 companies, startups, and foundation model providers.
• Partner closely with Customer Success teams to accelerate onboarding, ensure rapid realization of platform value, and reduce time-to-value for new customers.
• Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, implementation guides, and pre-sales/playbook resources to standardize and scale the Solutions Engineering function.
• Support customer and prospect implementations by configuring the platform and executing minor technical changes required to meet specific deployment requirements.
• Act as a critical feedback conduit between customers and Product/Engineering teams, directly influencing the product roadmap with real-world use cases, pain points, and feature requests.
• Build repeatable best practices and scalable processes for Solutions Engineering to ensure consistency and efficiency as the company scales.
• Deliver technical presentations and demos to diverse audiences including CTOs, security teams, engineers, and executive stakeholders in 1:1, small group, and conference settings.
• Navigate complex enterprise environments involving security protocols, compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR), IT governance, and procurement processes to facilitate smooth B2B product adoption.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to align customer outcomes with business goals and technical capabilities.
• Represent Lakera at industry events, customer workshops, and technical forums to build credibility and drive awareness of AI security solutions.
• Maintain deep familiarity with Lakera’s platform, including its integration with AWS, GCP, and Azure, and its underlying technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Actively contribute to the company’s mission of ensuring AI is implemented securely and ethically, with a passion for protecting AI systems from adversarial misalignment.
• Operate with urgency and ownership in a fast-moving startup environment, prioritizing customer impact and product evolution while maintaining high standards of transparency and accountability.
• Leverage proficiency in Python and JavaScript to customize solutions, troubleshoot integrations, and assist in prototyping customer-specific use cases.
• Engage with customers of varying sizes—from enterprise clients to early-stage startups—tailoring communication and technical depth to each audience’s needs.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript ecosystems
• Track record of enabling large-scale implementations on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience navigating enterprise security, compliance, and IT processes for B2B software deployment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership and accountability

• Total on-target earnings (OTE) range of $170,000 to $210,000 based on experience and performance
