- • As a Solutions Engineer in Deel's Field Services team, you will serve as the technical authority and industry expert for enterprise clients in APAC evaluating Deel’s platform for field services and onsite workforce management, directly partnering with Account Executives to translate complex client needs into scalable, compliant solutions that drive deal progression and implementation readiness.
- • You will lead the end-to-end technical sales cycle by owning discovery, shaping tailored solutions, responding to RFPs, delivering customized demos, conducting architecture workshops, and advising on compliant workforce models such as secondments, shadow payroll, and offshore/rotational employment frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
- • You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve technical challenges, advocate for customer-specific needs, influence product roadmaps, and accelerate deal progression by ensuring solutions are both technically feasible and commercially viable.
- • You will build, refine, and scale a field service-specific pre-sales asset library, including demo narratives, compliance frameworks, workforce models, and objection-handling playbooks, to increase team efficiency and consistency in customer engagements.
- • You will maintain deep expertise in global employment regulations, immigration trends, and offshore workforce dynamics to ensure real-world relevance in every customer conversation, positioning Deel as a trusted advisor in complex, multi-country field services deployments.
- • You will operate with entrepreneurial initiative in a fast-moving, remote-first startup environment, collaborating across functions while being based anywhere in APAC with approximately 10% travel required, leveraging your firsthand industry experience in oil & gas, mining, EPC, construction, shipbuilding, renewables, or defence contracting to establish immediate credibility with enterprise clients.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of deep, practical knowledge of the field services industry gained through direct experience working within or alongside offshore, onshore, or project-based workforce environments such as EPC, oil & gas, mining, shipyard, construction, renewables, or defence contracting
- • Firsthand understanding of how field services workforces are structured, deployed, and managed across multiple jurisdictions, including compliance with local labor laws, tax implications, and mobility frameworks
- • Demonstrated ability to advise on designing compliant, commercially sound workforce arrangements across borders, with solid awareness of compliance frameworks and valued experience in tax, shadow payroll, or international mobility
