- • As an Expansion Solutions Engineer at Vanta, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor guiding enterprise customers in the APJ region toward successful renewals and product expansion by aligning Vanta’s Trust Management Platform with their security and compliance goals, directly contributing to revenue growth and customer retention in a fast-scaling B2B SaaS environment.
- • You will partner closely with Account Management and Customer Success teams to identify expansion opportunities, lead technical discovery workshops, deliver tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts, and develop customized integration strategies that address complex customer environments across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premise systems.
- • You will build and maintain deep technical relationships with key stakeholders including security engineers, IT leaders, compliance officers, and executive sponsors, positioning yourself as a go-to expert who influences both customer success and Vanta’s product roadmap through actionable feedback gathered from real-world implementations.
- • You will develop a comprehensive understanding of Vanta’s product capabilities, including continuous monitoring for SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR, as well as its integrations with identity providers, cloud security tools, and GRC platforms, enabling you to articulate value clearly and drive adoption across technical and business audiences.
- • You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to translate customer insights into product improvements, help shape go-to-market strategies, and contribute to the scaling of Vanta’s Solutions Engineering function by refining processes, creating enablement materials, and sharing best practices.
- • You will operate in a hybrid work model from Vanta’s Sydney office, engaging with customers across Australia, Japan, India, and Southeast Asia, while benefiting from a culture that values curiosity, psychological safety, and continuous learning—where you’ll grow your expertise in cloud architecture, enterprise sales motions, and trust automation at the forefront of the security compliance market.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of customer-facing technical experience in roles such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or equivalent, with a proven ability to manage complex technical sales cycles and drive outcomes.
- • Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), including understanding of cloud application architecture, networking, and security fundamentals.
- • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical practitioners (e.g., DevOps, security engineers) and executive stakeholders (e.g., CISOs, VPs of Engineering) in high-stakes conversations.
- • Strong project management and organizational skills, demonstrated through success in managing multiple concurrent initiatives in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments.
- • A track record of working independently while collaborating effectively across teams, with a proactive mindset and the ability to drive projects to completion without constant oversight.
- • Familiarity with REST APIs, service integrations, and automation concepts is preferred; prior B2B SaaS experience is ideal.
