• • As a Solutions Engineer on the Asia Pacific International Government (IG) Team, you will be a critical customer-facing technical specialist. Your primary focus will be on supporting pre-sales activities for our advanced spatial intelligence software solutions, which are integrated with satellite imagery and geospatial data. You will serve government, defense, and intelligence customers throughout the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, playing a pivotal role in their adoption of cutting-edge technology.
• • This role demands close collaboration with our Sales teams, regional partners, and global Product and Engineering departments. You will be instrumental in translating complex mission, operational, and policy-driven requirements into technically sound, sovereign-compliant solutions. The deployments you architect may span diverse environments, including cloud platforms, on-premise secure facilities, and tactical or edge systems designed to operate in challenging conditions such as denied, degraded, or disconnected environments, and even on unmanned platforms.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass the full pre-sales lifecycle for APAC IG customers. This includes conducting thorough technical discovery sessions, effectively positioning our solutions, and qualifying opportunities through both direct customer engagements and partner-led initiatives.
• • You will be responsible for delivering compelling, tailored product demonstrations and technical briefings. Furthermore, you will develop and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) that are meticulously aligned with critical regional defense use cases. These use cases often include Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), border security, maritime domain awareness, disaster response operations, and other vital national security initiatives.
• • A core aspect of your role will be designing comprehensive, end-to-end spatial intelligence solutions. This involves seamlessly integrating our software platforms with satellite imagery and various third-party data sources to create powerful, unified systems.
• • You will architect deployments that are specifically designed to address the unique constraints prevalent in the APAC region. This includes navigating stringent data sovereignty regulations and in-country hosting requirements, designing hybrid architectures that can accommodate sovereign cloud, private cloud, and on-premise environments, and ensuring robust functionality in air-gapped, disconnected, or low-bandwidth operational settings.
• • Conducting rigorous technical qualification of opportunities is essential. You will assess the feasibility of proposed solutions, estimate integration efforts, evaluate security postures, and identify potential deployment risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
• • You will provide critical technical expertise for responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and tenders, which are standard components of APAC defense procurement cycles.
• • Contributing detailed technical inputs to solution descriptions and compliance matrices within proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) will be a key deliverable.
• • You will actively support customer trials, evaluations, and acceptance testing. This may involve hands-on work at customer sites, including military bases, command centers, and remote field locations.
• • Providing hands-on troubleshooting for deployed solutions is crucial, especially in challenging edge and tactical environments. This includes supporting systems on unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and mobile ground platforms.
• • You will foster strong working relationships with regional partners, system integrators, and resellers, supporting them in joint solution design and demonstration efforts.
• • Acting as a vital technical liaison, you will bridge communication between APAC Sales teams and our global Product, Engineering, and Operations teams, ensuring seamless information flow and alignment.
• • You will support the sales team by leading internal technical solutioning discussions and participating in review processes to refine and validate proposed solutions.
• • Providing structured, actionable feedback from APAC customers is essential for influencing our product roadmap decisions, guiding localization efforts, and optimizing deployment models to better meet regional needs.
