📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospects evaluating Lakera’s AI security platform, translating customer needs into tailored solutions using Check Point's AI Defense Plane to secure enterprise AI stacks.
• Partner with Customer Success teams to ensure rapid customer onboarding and accelerated realization of platform value, reducing time-to-value and increasing retention.
• Design and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and pre-sales/post-sales workflows to standardize processes and enable scalability across customer deployments.
• Perform product configuration and deliver minor technical customizations required for prospect and customer implementations, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Act as a bridge between customers and internal Product and Engineering teams, capturing and synthesizing feedback to influence product roadmap prioritization and feature development.
• Build and document repeatable playbooks, best practices, and scalable solutions for the Solutions Engineering function to support rapid growth and consistent customer outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to align technical delivery with business goals and customer expectations throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
• Present technical demonstrations and architectures to diverse audiences, including C-level executives, security teams, and engineering staff, in 1:1 meetings, small group settings, and large conference venues.
• Navigate complex enterprise security, compliance, and IT procurement processes to facilitate smooth adoption of Lakera’s platform within regulated and large-scale environments.
• Support large-scale deployments on AWS, GCP, or Azure, leveraging infrastructure-as-code tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to streamline environment setup and configuration.
• Maintain deep technical proficiency in Python and JavaScript ecosystems to assist with API integrations, custom script development, and troubleshooting customer-specific technical challenges.
• Foster strong relationships with customers of varying sizes, from Fortune 500 enterprises to startups, ensuring consistent, empathetic, and technically sound interactions.
• Embrace a fast-paced, startup environment with high ownership, self-direction, and urgency, proactively identifying bottlenecks and driving solutions to closure.
• Champion ethical and secure AI adoption by aligning technical solutions with Lakera’s mission to ensure AI systems behave as intended and protect users from adversarial misuse.
• Contribute to an in-office culture by participating in team collaboration and knowledge sharing, with hybrid work expected in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript ecosystems
• Demonstrated experience enabling large-scale implementations on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience navigating enterprise security, compliance, and IT processes for B2B product adoption
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences
• Organized, self-starter mindset with a track record of driving projects to completion in fast-moving environments
