- • As a Sourcer for Forward Deployed Engineering at OpenAI, you will play a critical role in identifying and attracting exceptional technical talent to support the company’s mission of ensuring artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity.
- • You will partner with hiring managers to build tailored sourcing strategies, conduct highly targeted searches, and engage passive candidates through creative outreach, while managing the candidate experience from initial contact to onsite interview.
- • You will be embedded within OpenAI’s Recruiting team, working closely with FDE recruiters, sourcers, coordinators, and business leaders in a hybrid London-based role requiring 3 days in the office per week and up to 50% travel.
- • This role offers the opportunity to shape innovative recruiting processes, lead cross-functional projects, and develop expertise in sourcing for high-impact AI engineering teams at a forefront AI research organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience sourcing for technical roles such as forward deployed engineers, software engineers, machine learning engineers, or AI engineers
- • Proven ability to deliver healthy candidate volume while maintaining high responsiveness and care for stakeholders and candidates
- • Demonstrated success in hiring top 1% talent
- • Proficiency with ATS and sourcing platforms including Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other modern recruitment tools
