- • The Special Officer, Office of the CEO (China) is a foundational, execution-focused role supporting Bjak Sdn. Bhd.’s China market entry and local setup for A1’s operations.
- • You will work closely with the CEO and early leadership team to drive day-to-day execution required to establish A1’s presence in China, including office setup, cross-functional coordination, early hiring support, and ensuring launch-related workstreams move forward effectively.
- • This is a highly hands-on role with broad scope, well suited for someone comfortable operating in ambiguity, who enjoys building from 0 to 1, and takes strong ownership of execution—going beyond administrative tasks to build local networks, engage recruiters and partners, support early hiring, and drive key operational initiatives.
- • You will gain direct exposure to executive leadership, build end-to-end operational expertise in market entry, and develop skills in cross-functional coordination, stakeholder management, and high-impact execution in a fast-moving startup environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in operations, executive support, startup operations, office administration, or business coordination
- • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, unstructured environment
- • Comfortable working closely with senior leadership and handling sensitive or confidential information
- • Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging external stakeholders (e.g. recruiters, vendors, partners)
- • Hands-on, proactive mindset — able to figure things out independently without a defined playbook
- • Familiarity with the China business environment (e.g. vendors, hiring landscape, basic admin processes) is a plus
