- • The Specialist, Project Steering at Scout Motors Inc. plays a critical role in advancing the company’s mission to revive an iconic American vehicle brand through electrification, digitization, and innovation, contributing to the future of sustainable transportation.
- • Day to day, the Specialist will track and report on production equipment, lead P-FMEA processes, coordinate evaluation requests, manage risk and OKR processes in serial planning, support supplier park project management, develop control strategies across departments, monitor KPIs, and drive serial planning improvements using new technologies and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- • The role is part of the Plant Engineering Production Steering & Battery Team at Scout Motors, a company rooted in American automotive heritage, committed to innovation, inclusivity, and entrepreneurial spirit, building electric pick-up trucks and rugged SUVs with dual powertrain options including the Harvester™ range extender.
- • The person in this role will gain deep expertise in automotive production systems, serial planning for HV battery assembly, cross-functional leadership, risk management, and project steering within a high-growth, fast-paced environment, while contributing to the ramp-up of series production and shaping the future of mobility.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of professional experience in automotive production with expertise in achieving stable production processes and project steering operations
- • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, economics engineering, or a related field
- • Expertise in Serial Planning (HV Battery) Assembly management preferred
- • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- • Minimum of High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
