- • The Specialist, Workforce Development, Grants Administration role supports the Foundation for California Community Colleges’ mission to strengthen California’s community college system by managing grant-funded workforce development projects that expand economic and social mobility for students.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing awardee contracts and budgets, reviewing invoices and reports, monitoring fiscal and program compliance, tracking KPIs, providing guidance to awardees, and supporting funding application processes in collaboration with senior staff.
- • The FoundationCCC is a mission-driven organization dedicated to enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse higher education system in the nation—by connecting learners with resources, work-based learning, and career pathways.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in grants administration, workforce development systems, and public-sector funding while contributing to equity-focused initiatives that impact millions of Californians through improved education and employment outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience with grants administration from a funder’s perspective
- • Experience with Excel required
- • Experience with project and client management software (e.g., Asana, Salesforce) preferred
- • Possession of a valid California Driver’s License, good driving record, automobile insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle is required
- • Experience with the California Community College system and/or Workforce Development preferred
- • Ability to research, analyze, synthesize, and communicate complex topics to internal and external audiences
