- • As a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative at Amgen, you will serve as the primary customer contact for healthcare professionals in the Richmond South territory, driving product awareness and utilization of innovative medicines like Repatha to improve patient outcomes in serious illnesses.
- • Day to day, you will engage medical professionals through in-person and virtual interactions, deliver branded sales messages, conduct educational programs, manage account relationships, resolve reimbursement issues, and provide feedback on marketing strategy while tracking territory performance against sales targets.
- • You will join Amgen’s award-winning, science-based, and collaborative culture dedicated to pioneering biotech innovations in oncology, inflammation, general medicine, and rare disease, with a mission to help patients live longer, fuller, happier lives.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of sales experience (for Specialty Representative role)
- • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience (and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field) OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience (and/or clinical experience) OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience (and/or clinical experience) (for Senior Specialty Representative role)
- • Three or more years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry, with product or hospital sales experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases
- • Established relationships in the territory and local market knowledge
- • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration (preferred)
- • Demonstrated adaptability with Amgen’s Core Competencies: Planning and Organizing; Leveraging Business, Industry, and Technical Knowledge; Communicating with Impact; Driving for Results; and Cultivating Internal and External Relationships
