- • As a Senior Account Executive at Pure Storage, you will lead strategic sales efforts targeting the Federal Government in the Greater Ottawa Area, driving new business and expanding existing engagements by leveraging Pure Storage’s innovative all-flash enterprise storage and modern data platform solutions.
- • Day to day, you will evangelize Pure’s technology to federal stakeholders, build and expand trusted relationships with key government influencers, develop and execute strategic account plans, lead coordinated pursuit teams with sales engineering and partners, manage a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quotas, and navigate complex Government of Canada procurement frameworks such as PISA and other supply arrangements.
- • You will collaborate closely with Pure’s sales engineering, channel, and executive leadership teams, as well as with federal system integrators, resellers, and consulting partners like CGI, Calian, and General Dynamics Mission Systems – Canada, to advance opportunities through lengthy procurement cycles and deliver mission-critical outcomes for Canadian government customers.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in federal technology sales, strengthen your ability to navigate secure government environments, refine your Challenger-style selling approach, and build long-term, referenceable customer relationships while contributing to Pure Storage’s mission of reshaping the data storage industry.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated success selling enterprise technology solutions into the Government of Canada
- • Deep understanding of federal procurement frameworks and buying vehicles (e.g., PISA and related supply arrangements)
- • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience focused on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering $10-15M+ in annual revenue
- • Established relationships across the Ottawa public sector partner ecosystem, including system integrators and other federal-focused partners
- • Experience operating in controlled or secure government environments, with existing Government of Canada security clearance eligibility or active clearance considered a strong asset
- • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across both executive and technical audiences
