This position is instrumental in managing and nurturing the entire customer lifecycle, from initial engagement with prospective clients to fostering long-term relationships with established partners.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass a dynamic blend of internal coordination and external client management. Internally, you will act as a crucial liaison, orchestrating efforts across various cross-functional departments to ensure the seamless execution of projects from their initial conception through to final implementation. This requires a deep understanding of internal processes and the ability to drive collaboration towards shared goals.
- • Externally, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, responsible for keeping them informed about Nextracker's comprehensive and evolving product portfolio. This includes delivering prompt, competitive, and accurate project proposals that address customer needs and align with market dynamics. A significant aspect of the role involves skillfully negotiating and closing deals, ensuring mutual success and long-term value for both Nextracker and its clients.
- • This role directly supports a Director of Sales or other senior Sales Leader within the Global Sales Team, providing critical insights and contributing to the overall sales strategy. You will be expected to develop and execute strategic account plans aimed at expanding existing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring sustained customer satisfaction and loyalty.

This includes gaining a thorough understanding of solar design, development processes, market dynamics, potential risk factors, and critical success factors within the renewable energy sector. Building trust and rapport with customers is paramount, leading to their long-term satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.

- • You will actively collect quote feedback, ensuring the full value of the bid is clearly communicated and considered by the customer. Driving customer contract negotiations, in close collaboration with a cross-functional team, will be a core responsibility.
- • Working closely with the Director of Sales, you will contribute to creative deal structuring and refine bid strategies to maximize success. Ensuring accurate forecasts and maintaining high data hygiene within the CRM system are critical for effective sales management.
- • Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with other Nextracker departments is vital for smooth project execution and client satisfaction. You will drive the deal execution process to 100% completion, including facilitating milestone handoff meetings.
- • Facilitating semi-annual customer business reviews to discuss product portfolio, services, pipeline, and strategic alignment will be a regular duty. You will also manage customer credit by compiling exposure forecasts for internal assessment and working with customers to provide necessary financial justifications.
- • Properly managing customer and stakeholder expectations, and ensuring timely responses to all inquiries, are crucial for maintaining strong relationships.
- • You will also be expected to perform other job-related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the broader team's success.
