- • As a Sr. Account Manager - German Speaker at DTN, you will be the strategic owner of client accounts in the weather division, driving long-term success, partnerships, and revenue growth in the utilities, renewables, and airports sectors.
- • Day to day, you will build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, act as a strategic consultant, maintain deep understanding of client needs, develop territory and account plans, provide proactive recommendations, ensure customer satisfaction, identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, conduct business reviews, negotiate contract renewals, and hunt for new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- • DTN is a global data and technology company with over 1,200 employees, serving critical industries like energy, agriculture, and weather-driven sectors through its Operational Decisioning Platform that transforms raw data into decision-grade insights to help clients optimize supply chains, ensure market stability, and safeguard infrastructure.
- • In this role, you can expect to deepen your expertise in consultative sales and account management, master cross-selling and upselling strategies in complex B2B environments, gain industry-specific knowledge in energy/utilities/renewables, strengthen your Salesforce proficiency, and advance your career through DTN’s learning platform offering unlimited access to 13k+ courses, all while contributing to mission-critical operational decisions that feed, fuel, and protect the world.
🎯 Requirements
- • Fluent German language skills (written and spoken at Business Level)
- • 5+ years of experience in account management, consultative sales, or B2B client relations
- • 5 years of experience in software and/or SaaS sales
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Sales preferred; or equivalent experience
- • Strong understanding of either the Energy, Utilities, Transportation or Renewable industries
- • Proficiency in SFDC for tracking leads and managing pipelines
