  • • Sony Electronics Inc. is actively seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Account Manager specializing in Virtual Production to spearhead strategic business development initiatives. This pivotal role is designed for individuals who are not afraid to push boundaries, collaborate effectively, and contribute to creating innovative solutions that enhance lives globally. You will be instrumental in identifying, nurturing, and closing new revenue streams across Sony's cutting-edge Virtual Production portfolio, which includes advanced LED display systems, state-of-the-art digital cinema cameras, the sophisticated OCELLUS camera tracking system, comprehensive VFX Tech solutions, and Sony's integrated Virtual Production Tool Set.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a deep well of experience within the film and television industry, complemented by a robust network of executive-level relationships. A proven history of successfully driving complex technology sales within the demanding Media & Entertainment sector is essential. You must be highly connected and influential across major studios, production companies, system integrators, leading higher education institutions with media programs, and enterprise-level production organizations. Crucially, you will have direct insight into emerging studio construction projects, significant renovations, and capital investment plans related to virtual production facilities.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to develop and meticulously execute comprehensive territory and account strategies aimed at accelerating growth within Sony’s Virtual Production offerings. This involves proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across a spectrum of technologies, including immersive LED volumes, advanced cinema camera systems, precise OCELLUS tracking solutions, and integrated VP workflow tools. You will be tasked with building and diligently maintaining a qualified sales pipeline that is consistently aligned with ambitious quarterly and annual revenue targets. A key aspect of this role involves actively tracking and engaging with new studio construction, renovation projects, and the establishment of virtual production facilities at the earliest possible stages.
  • • Cultivating and nurturing strong senior and executive-level relationships across the film, television, streaming, and broadcast ecosystems will be paramount. You will engage directly with key decision-makers, including studio executives, visionary cinematographers, meticulous technical supervisors, innovative production designers, and influential engineering leads. A significant part of your success will hinge on your ability to partner effectively with system integrators, architects, and technology consultants, ensuring that Sony's solutions are specified and integrated during the critical early design phases of projects. You will expertly manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, guiding them seamlessly from initial prospecting through to final contract execution.
  • • You will act as a market leader, staying abreast of evolving market trends, competitive landscapes, and significant capital investment activities within the dynamic Media & Entertainment sector. Representing Sony with professionalism and expertise at key industry trade shows, conferences, and professional forums will be a regular occurrence. Internally, you will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and executive leadership teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into product strategy and development roadmaps. Maintaining exceptional forecasting accuracy and diligent CRM pipeline management, in strict accordance with corporate standards, is also a core expectation of this role.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of virtual production by leveraging Sony's industry-leading technology and your extensive industry expertise. You will be at the forefront of innovation, driving adoption of solutions that are transforming how content is created. The hybrid work environment, coupled with unique perks like “Free Fridays” and early summer shutdowns, supports a healthy work-life balance, allowing you to excel both professionally and personally. Join a team that values creativity, collaboration, and making a significant impact on the global entertainment landscape.
