- • Inmar Intelligence, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This pivotal role, operating under minimal supervision, is responsible for executing essential accounting functions for Inmar's legal entities. You will play a crucial part in understanding and managing the general accounting process, adhering to strict deadlines, and developing specific routines to generate accurate accounting information. Your expertise will be vital in posting monthly journal entries and meticulously reconciling balance sheet accounts for assigned legal entities, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial records.
- • This position demands the ability to tackle challenging accounting tasks with precision and efficiency. You will be expected to work effectively both independently and collaboratively with other members of the accounting team and across various company departments. - • As a Senior Accountant, you will embody leadership qualities by demonstrating a profound understanding of accounting processes and actively training and mentoring other team members. You will be a key communicator during the critical month-end close period and throughout the month, liaising with finance teams to provide essential financial information, address inquiries, explain month-end results, and ensure the overall accuracy of financial reporting. Your proactive involvement will be instrumental in supporting the business through the development of new accounting processes for emerging products or evolving operational procedures.

You will be responsible for executing the month-end close process, which includes the preparation and review of month-end journal entries and detailed supporting schedules.
- • A core responsibility is to independently investigate and resolve reconciling items on assigned balance sheet accounts. This requires proactive engagement and collaboration with other departments to ensure timely resolution. You will be tasked with the timely and accurate completion and review of monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Furthermore, you will review and analyze the monthly profit and loss statements, providing insightful and meaningful explanations for variances and trends to managers and directors. Your role will also involve researching, interpreting, and communicating appropriate accounting policies for complex accounting transactions, ensuring compliance and clarity.
- • You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and accounting policies related to your assigned tasks, ensuring documentation is current and accurate. The position also entails completing ad hoc projects as assigned, which may involve in-depth process analysis and providing actionable recommendations for improvement to management. Effective communication and collaboration with internal and external auditors, providing necessary information and support, will also be a key part of your responsibilities.
