- • The Sr. Analyst - Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance role is critical to maintaining Genesys’ compliance posture across global operations, ensuring adherence to key regulatory frameworks such as SOX, PCI, HIPAA, SOC, ISO 27001, and others, directly supporting the company’s ability to operate securely and maintain customer trust.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in managing audit and certification programs, implementing and monitoring compliance processes, mapping controls across initiatives, developing reporting metrics and dashboards, supporting control owners in defining standards, documenting control failures, providing remediation guidance, conducting risk and gap assessments, and promoting Agile methodologies and automation within the GRC function.
- • The role sits within the Information Security & Compliance Team, reporting to the Director of Information Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance, and collaborates with cross-functional teams, business units, and audit/assurance services to strengthen and align compliance efforts across the organization.
- • This position offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in enterprise GRC programs, gain hands-on experience with leading compliance frameworks, develop leadership in control automation and reporting, and contribute to building a Center of Excellence for Information Security GRC at Genesys.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study
- • 5+ years of experience working with information security management, governance, and compliance principles, practices, laws, rules, and regulations
- • 5+ years of experience in information systems auditing, monitoring, controlling, and assessment processes
- • Proficiency in risk assessment and direction methodology
- • Ability to function effectively within cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals
- • Demonstrated project management, organizational, and facilitation skills
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- • High level of personal integrity and ability to handle confidential matters professionally
- • ISO LA, PCI QSA, CISSP, CISM, CISA, ITIL, or GIAC certifications desired
- • Flexibility to work consistently between 8 am and 5 pm EST (6.30 PM IST to 3.30 AM IST)
