• • The Senior Application Security Engineer at Edgesource Corporation plays a critical role in securing enterprise applications for federal and commercial clients, including the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and Intelligence Community, by advancing security through automation-first practices and DevSecOps integration.
• • Day to day, the role involves leading secure SDLC implementation, designing and deploying automated security controls in CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning), leveraging RPA to streamline vulnerability workflows, conducting code reviews and dynamic testing, identifying and remediating OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, and partnering with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security into release pipelines.
