📋 Description

• • As a Sr. Applied AI Engineer at Zapier, you will build and evolve the shared AI Platform infrastructure that powers machine learning and generative AI development across the company, enabling teams to ship intelligent products and internal workflows at scale.
• • Your day-to-day work will involve improving LLM Ops and ML Ops capabilities—including observability, monitoring, evaluation, deployment workflows, and operational guardrails—while collaborating with product, infra, and data teams to standardize best practices and ensure reusable, well-documented AI components.
• • You’ll join Zapier’s AI Platform team, a highly leveraged group focused on creating foundational systems like LLM proxy servers and ML Ops platforms that serve as the baseline for AI development across the organization, working at the intersection of platform engineering, applied AI, and developer experience.
• • In this role, you’ll deepen your expertise in large language models, ML Ops, and internal platform development while enabling other engineers to move faster through strong abstractions, reduced duplication, and improved standards—directly impacting Zapier’s ability to innovate safely and efficiently with AI.
