  • • Campbell Soup Company is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sr Asset Care & Reliability Manager to lead the development and execution of comprehensive strategies aimed at maximizing equipment reliability, performance, parts management, and asset lifecycle across a portfolio of 4-6 manufacturing sites.
  • • This pivotal remote role requires a proactive leader who will partner closely with site leadership, engineering, and maintenance teams to standardize asset care practices, enhance preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing equipment uptime and optimizing the total cost of ownership.
  • • The Sr Asset Care & Reliability Manager will be instrumental in designing and deploying the company’s overarching Asset Care and Reliability (ACR) strategy, ensuring its consistent implementation across all supported locations.
  • • A key responsibility will be defining and rigorously enforcing equipment reliability standards, encompassing a variety of maintenance philosophies such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Predictive Maintenance (PdM), applicable to mechanical components as well as Instrumentation, Controls, and Electrical (ICE) assets.
  • • The role involves developing robust asset care frameworks, including conducting thorough criticality assessments for both equipment and spare parts, and implementing effective equipment life cycle management processes.
  • • You will be expected to expertly interpret Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) test results, translate these insights into actionable recommendations for corrective actions, and continuously optimize related reliability strategies to drive tangible improvements.
  • • A significant focus will be placed on analyzing equipment performance metrics, such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), to identify critical trends, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and establish clear performance benchmarks.
  • • The Sr Asset Care & Reliability Manager will establish and meticulously manage site-specific KPIs to enhance visibility into asset reliability and foster a strong sense of local ownership for all performance outcomes.

  • • A core objective is to drive a focused effort on identifying and eliminating the Top 10 Bad Actors across the sites, implementing robust processes to ensure these persistent issues are resolved permanently.
  • • You will oversee the development and continuous optimization of preventive and predictive maintenance programs across all facilities, ensuring they are data-driven and aligned with best practices.
  • • Support for the implementation and enhancement of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), specifically SAP, will be required, including optimizing spare parts strategies and standardizing Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • • A significant aspect of the role involves training and coaching site maintenance teams on reliability best practices, standardized workflows, and developing both their technical skills and business acumen.
  • • The Sr Asset Care & Reliability Manager will actively support capital project teams by providing essential reliability input during the equipment specification and design phases, ensuring new assets meet stringent reliability requirements from inception.
  • • Close collaboration with Operations Excellence (OpEx), operations, and engineering departments will be key to driving uptime-focused initiatives and achieving significant cost savings.
  • • You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for reliability engineering and asset management across multiple sites, fostering a culture of shared knowledge and continuous learning.
  • • Facilitating knowledge sharing, conducting training sessions, and promoting the adoption of best practices across both Maintenance and Operations teams will be a regular duty.
  • • Conducting site ACR assessments to ensure adherence to reliability standards and performance requirements, and facilitating the development of site Tactical Improvement Plans to enhance capabilities and deliver measurable benefits, are critical functions.
  • • The ability to influence decision-makers at all organizational levels and drive change effectively in a fast-paced environment is paramount for success in this role.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on operational efficiency and asset performance within a renowned food and beverage company, contributing directly to the company's legacy of quality and innovation.
