- • Design, develop, and deliver scalable learning solutions aligned with the Employee Benefits Division’s strategic goals and enterprise-wide initiatives.
- • Apply adult learning theory and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE) to create engaging content across modalities including eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), webinars, micro-learning, job aids, and digital thought documents.
- • Lead the end-to-end instructional design process—from needs analysis and content development to implementation and evaluation—for functional and cross-functional training projects.
- • Support sales training delivery for sales representatives, sales support specialists, and account managers covering new hire onboarding, sales processes, product knowledge, and operational readiness.
- • Collaborate with Sales Leaders and Distribution Operations partners to identify training needs across experience levels and develop targeted learning interventions.
- • Integrate competitive intelligence, marketing messaging, and adult learning principles into training content to drive sales performance and business outcomes.
- • Develop and deliver external partnership learning content to support third-party distribution channels.
- • Utilize content delivery systems to ensure consistent, timely, and measurable execution of training programs.
- • Partner with stakeholders to align training initiatives with sales strategies, product launches, and operational changes.
- • Maintain proficiency in internal systems used by sales teams and leverage learning technologies to enhance training effectiveness.
- • Adapt training presentations in real-time to accommodate changing circumstances such as shortened timeframes, location shifts, or technology failures.
- • Stay current on emerging trends in instructional design, learning technologies, and employee benefits sales practices.
- • Create visually compelling and easily digestible training materials using strong visual communication techniques.
- • Manage multiple concurrent training projects with overlapping deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- • Deliver presentations to audiences of varying seniority and experience levels with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to develop and distribute training materials.
- • Support strategic projects and partnerships under the direction of Lead Trainers and the Director of Sales Training.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years’ experience in instructional design and delivery, preferably in financial services or insurance
- • Intimate understanding of insurance and employee benefit products and sales processes
- • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate)
- • Undergraduate degree in business administration, human resources, or organization development; Master’s degree preferred
- • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and content delivery platforms
- • Strong presentation skills with ability to adapt delivery in real-time to audience and environmental needs
