- • As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Networking Engineer, you will strengthen the cloud infrastructure and networking foundations that power n8n Cloud as it scales across Azure regions, reduces single-person ownership risk, and prepares for future multi-cloud expansion.
- • You will work hands-on across platform engineering, networking, reliability, and architecture to design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern deployment tooling; support regional rollouts; improve infrastructure pain points; strengthen networking foundations; improve reliability, security, and observability; and drive cross-functional platform strategy.
- • You will join a diverse team of over 260 people across Europe and the US, with a centre of gravity in Berlin, working on an open workflow orchestration platform built for the new era of AI, backed by a fiercely inventive community and 500+ builder-approved integrations.
- • You will have the opportunity to lead significant infrastructure projects independently, bring senior technical judgement to architecture decisions, and grow toward an IC5 or future tech-lead track while solving genuine scale, reliability, security, and multi-region infrastructure problems.
🎯 Requirements
- • Hands-on experience managing and deploying infrastructure on Azure, or alternatively GCP or AWS
- • Designed and scaled cloud-native infrastructure for complex platforms used by many users
- • Strong experience with VNets/VPCs, peering, routing, network topologies, DNS, load balancing, TLS, ingress/egress, and service mesh at meaningful scale
- • Strong production experience with Kubernetes, including Kubernetes networking concepts such as CNI, ingress controllers, and service mesh
- • Confident using Terraform and IaC practices to build scalable, repeatable, and reliable cloud infrastructure
- • Knowledge of building secure, resilient systems using cloud, distributed systems, and infrastructure best practices
- • Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines, build processes, and deployment workflows
- • Experience with monitoring, alerting, observability, and performance tuning in production environments
- • Curious, resourceful, and comfortable saying “I don’t know yet, but I’ll find out.”
