- • As a Sr. Commercial Account Representative at Illumio, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission to combat ransomware and breaches by driving commercial sales growth in the Florida and Georgia regions. You will be responsible for exceeding sales quotas, building strategic relationships with mid-market clients and partner sellers, and contributing to Illumio’s vision of enabling Zero Trust security across hybrid multi-cloud environments. Your work will directly support the company’s position as a Leader in the Forrester Wave™ for Microsegmentation, helping organizations strengthen cyber resilience and operational continuity.
- • On a day-to-day basis, you will exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for your assigned territory by developing and executing a targeted territory plan with a prioritized prospect list and regional sales strategy. You will build and nurture an ecosystem of partner sellers and systems engineers (SEs) who are enthusiastic about Illumio’s solutions and actively collaborate with you to drive joint opportunities. You will partner closely with marketing and inside sales teams to generate and qualify pipeline, conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to prospect needs, and lead ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction, identify expansion opportunities, and drive additional revenue. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will deeply understand customer business challenges and align Illumio’s breach containment platform with their IT roadmap and security initiatives.

- • In this role, you will develop advanced expertise in enterprise cybersecurity sales, particularly in the fast-growing Zero Trust and microsegmentation markets. You will refine your ability to engage C-suite executives, manage complex partner ecosystems, and deliver consultative, value-based selling conversations. Success in this position will position you for continued growth into senior leadership roles within Illumio’s expanding global sales organization, while contributing meaningfully to the fight against cyber threats.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in a Commercial Account Executive or equivalent role within the IT industry, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and acquiring new customers.
- • Demonstrated success in selling to the C-suite across lines of business, supported by a strong regional network of contacts and executive-level relationship management skills.
- • Experience selling through and managing a network of partner sellers, including the ability to collaborate effectively with systems engineers and virtual specialists in a matrixed support environment.
- • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity market and Zero Trust principles, with the ability to articulate Illumio’s value proposition in teaching conversations tailored to prospect needs.
- • Proficiency in CRM hygiene and pipeline management, coupled with the ability to work in a fast-paced, adaptive environment and willingness to travel 20–50% based on business needs.
