  • • Own the entire talent acquisition lifecycle for Tessera Labs’ most critical GTM and Engineering hires—from first intake to signed offer—while shaping the recruiting infrastructure that will scale with us from 30 to 300 employees.
  • • Partner as a strategic advisor to founders, VPs, and team leads to translate aggressive product roadmaps into precise hiring plans, headcount forecasts, and role architectures that keep us ahead of the market.
  • • Source and engage elite AI engineers, platform architects, sales leaders, and customer-success builders across the U.S., EMEA, and APAC using modern tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, SeekOut, Boolean, GitHub, niche Slack/Discord communities) and creative outbound campaigns that cut through the noise.
  • • Build and maintain a world-class candidate experience: ultra-fast scheduling, transparent communication, tailored pitch decks, and a closing process that wins over candidates competing with FAANG offers.
  • • Design repeatable yet flexible recruiting playbooks—interview kits, scorecards, rubrics, and onboarding checklists—that empower hiring managers to run rigorous, inclusive loops without recruiter bottlenecks.
  • • Leverage data obsessively: funnel metrics, time-to-fill, offer-accept rates, diversity dashboards, and cost-per-hire to surface insights that drive weekly sprints and quarterly OKRs.
  • • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by partnering with ERGs, sourcing from under-represented communities, and ensuring every slate reflects the global customers we serve.
  • • Pilot and optimize an employer-brand strategy—tech blogs, conference talks, open-source contributions, and referral campaigns—that positions Tessera Labs as the destination for builders who want to ship real AI into Fortune 500 workflows.
  • • Negotiate complex offers (cash, equity, remote stipends, visa sponsorship) while balancing internal parity and long-term retention.
  • • Act as culture carrier: onboard new recruiters, mentor coordinators, and codify “Tessera Talent DNA” so every hire raises the bar and multiplies team velocity.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and People Ops to forecast burn, manage contractor conversions, and ensure global compliance as we expand into new jurisdictions.
  • • Stay ahead of market trends—AI talent shortages, compensation benchmarks, remote-first policies—and translate insights into proactive strategies that keep our pipeline evergreen.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-growth technology startups, with a demonstrable track record of hiring both GTM (Sales, Marketing, CS, Partnerships) and Engineering talent simultaneously.
  • • Mastery of modern sourcing tools and techniques—LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent CRMs, and community-driven outreach—with evidence of filling hard-to-fill AI or ML roles.
  • • Data-driven mindset: comfort building dashboards in Greenhouse, Gem, or Looker and using funnel analytics to influence hiring-manager decisions.
  • • Experience negotiating competitive offers that balance cash, equity, and remote perks while maintaining internal parity.
  • • Nice-to-have: prior experience in AI/ML or enterprise SaaS environments; existing network within AI research, data engineering, or enterprise sales communities.
