- • As a Sr. Deal Desk Analyst at Optiv Security Inc., you will be a pivotal member of the Revenue Strategy team, operating at the forefront of complex and dynamic sales environments. This role is designed for a highly motivated and independent individual who excels in navigating ambiguity and driving strategic outcomes. You will be entrusted with significant ownership over critical aspects of Optiv’s most strategic transactions, including in-depth price benchmarking, sophisticated competitive positioning, and comprehensive deal analysis.
- • Your primary responsibility will involve performing advanced price benchmarking analysis. This entails meticulously assessing the competitiveness of quotes, identifying potential margin leakage, and providing data-driven guidance for strategic pricing decisions. You will leverage both internal and external data sources to evaluate our pricing strength against competitive intelligence, thereby sharpening Optiv's market position and ensuring our offerings remain compelling and profitable.
- • You will be tasked with analyzing large, complex deals, offering strategic recommendations for pricing adjustments, structural modifications, or alternative vendor selections. The goal is to enhance profitability and increase the probability of winning these high-stakes transactions. This requires a keen understanding of how pricing strategies impact sales outcomes and customer perception.
- • A significant part of your role will be to build and refine sophisticated analytical models. These models will serve as foundational tools for supporting pricing guidance, enabling robust scenario planning, and empowering sales teams with data-informed decision-making capabilities. Your ability to translate raw data into actionable insights will be crucial.
- • You will collaborate closely with Sales and Client Operations teams, acting as a key influencer in shaping quote strategies and optimizing pricing configurations for high-value deals. This cross-functional partnership is essential for aligning pricing strategies with overall sales objectives and market realities.
- • Leading or actively participating in executive deal reviews will be a regular occurrence. In these high-level forums, you will present clear, data-driven recommendations on pricing strategies, risk mitigation, and deal structuring, influencing critical business decisions.
- • You will play a key role in establishing scalable pricing intelligence processes. This includes identifying opportunities to improve turnaround times through the implementation of smarter workflows and the exploration of automation possibilities, thereby increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the deal desk.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to strategic projects aimed at elevating the deal desk's function as a proactive driver of revenue growth and margin expansion within Optiv. This involves thinking critically about how the deal desk can evolve to meet future business needs and market challenges.
