- • As Sr. Director of Wholesale Markets Business Development at Evernorth Health Services, you will drive transformational growth of the Wholesale Markets client portfolio by maintaining existing client relationships and reimagining go-to-market strategies for pharmacy benefits services.
- • You will provide strategic vision and leadership for new sales, product development, positioning, marketing, implementation, and account management, ensuring innovative offerings that enhance growth and retention.
- • You will lead a high-performing team across account, clinical, and product functions, fostering collaboration, coaching development, and ensuring operational efficiency and client issue resolution.
- • You will oversee end-to-end wholesale market opportunities including retail pharmacy network services, rebate and formulary services, and future offerings, managing client contracts, implementation, and enterprise-level prospect escalations in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- • You will build and maintain strong internal and external relationships, leveraging financial acumen and negotiation skills to influence outcomes and align with pharma partners on strategic initiatives.
- • You will drive new sales pipeline and prospecting efforts, partner with sales teams to win new business, and ensure contract execution and performance guarantee management across all clients.
- • You will contribute to Evernorth’s mission of improving health and increasing vitality through innovative pharmacy, care, and benefit solutions, operating within a tobacco-free workplace that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant leadership experience in Account Management, Product Management, or Pharma Contracting (or similar)
- • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- • Proven track record of change management and business transformation in uncertain and ambiguous environments
- • Experience developing, launching, and managing healthcare products and programs
- • Strong financial acumen, strategic perspective, and problem-solving skills with ability to develop hypotheses and conclusions
- • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- • Ability to build strong relationships with executive leaders internally and externally
- • Ability to work cross-functionally to define, scope, analyze, and resolve strategic issues
- • Pharmaceutical Manufacturer or Pharmacy Benefit Services experience preferred
