- • Own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of Common Room’s field events program, including executive dinners, hosted roundtables, VIP experiences, regional meetups, and large-scale conference sponsorships.
- • Develop and manage the annual field events calendar with clear alignment to sales pipeline goals and quarterly revenue targets.
- • Collaborate directly with Sales and SDR teams to identify and drive targeted attendance from priority accounts, ensuring every event is tied to measurable pipeline opportunity.
- • Manage all logistical operations for events, including venue sourcing, vendor negotiations, contract management, on-site coordination, and post-event wrap-up procedures.
- • Partner with Content and Product Marketing teams to create compelling event messaging, talk tracks, and collateral tailored to the ideal customer profile (ICP).
- • Design and implement pre-event and post-event playbooks to maximize attendance rates, attendee engagement, and consistent sales follow-up.
- • Rigorously track and analyze event performance metrics including pipeline sourced, pipeline influenced, attendee quality, cost per opportunity, and ROI.
- • Optimize the field events budget by prioritizing high-impact formats and vendors, ensuring maximum efficiency and return on investment.
- • Identify emerging event formats, untapped regional markets, and new conference opportunities to scale the program as the company grows.
- • Bring creative, resourceful ideas to elevate the attendee experience while maintaining cost discipline and operational excellence.
- • Use data-driven insights to continuously refine the events strategy, adjusting formats, timing, targeting, and messaging based on performance outcomes.
- • Serve as the primary owner of the field events function, acting as a cross-functional leader who bridges Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to align on buyer engagement goals.
- • Ensure all events reinforce Common Room’s brand positioning as an AI-powered GTM platform that delivers deep buyer intelligence and actionable insights.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of modern B2B buyer behavior and incorporate insights into event design to foster authentic, high-value connections.
- • Report regularly on program health, key learnings, and opportunities for growth to marketing leadership and executive stakeholders.
- • Advocate for and implement best practices in event marketing across the organization, setting standards for measurement, execution, and accountability.
- • Represent Common Room at key industry events as a brand ambassador, building relationships with prospects, partners, and industry influencers.
- • Ensure compliance with company values by creating inclusive, transparent, and customer-centric event experiences that reflect our commitment to simplicity and impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of field marketing or event marketing experience in B2B SaaS
- • Strong track record running events that generate pipeline, with ability to measure event contribution to revenue
- • Experience managing diverse event formats: executive roundtables, hosted dinners, large-scale conference sponsorships, and regional meetups
- • Highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent events without dropping details
- • Natural collaborator with experience working cross-functionally with Sales to drive attendance and ensure follow-up
- • Data-driven mindset with ability to set pre-event goals and measure post-event outcomes
