Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own the financial heartbeat of Crusoe’s AI-driven data-center expansion. You will build and continuously refine short- and long-term project-finance models that underpin multi-hundred-million-dollar builds, incorporating equity-joint-venture waterfalls, construction-draw schedules, debt-sizing mechanics, and sensitivity toggles for power, cost, and utilization assumptions.
  • • Partner shoulder-to-shoulder with Construction, Operations, Strategy, Project Controls, and Accounting to translate engineering specs into bullet-proof capital budgets. You will lock scope, sequence cash flows, and create variance dashboards that allow executives to spot overruns 30 days earlier than today’s cycle.
  • • Drive the monthly and quarterly rhythm of forecasting. You will own the data-center P&L and cash-flow outlook, pressure-test assumptions against real-time telemetry from our energy-recapture systems, and publish concise narratives that tell the “why” behind every delta.
  • • Be the finance anchor on live deal teams. You will spin up scenario models in hours, not days, to evaluate new land, power, and colocation agreements; structure JV or tax-equity partnerships; and package diligence decks that let lenders and equity partners sign term sheets with confidence.
  • • Create board-ready materials and investor updates. You will distill complex project KPIs—IRR, MOIC, yield-on-cost, watts per dollar—into crisp visuals that show Crusoe’s unique advantage: sustainable computing at scale.
  • • Support capital-raise sprints. When the Strategic Finance team kicks off Series D or green-bond issuances, you will own the data-center module of the model, populate VDRs, and field granular questions on power contracts, construction timelines, and carbon-offset monetization.
  • • Champion continuous improvement. You will automate repetitive Excel tasks into Python or SQL workflows, implement version-control best practices, and mentor junior analysts on scenario logic and storytelling.
  • • Influence company-level strategy. Your analyses will directly shape where Crusoe builds next, which energy partners we choose, and how fast we can responsibly scale to meet exploding AI demand.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3–4 years of progressive finance experience in real estate, industrial, energy, or infrastructure sectors, including at least 2 years in project finance, investment banking, or private equity
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative field
  • • Advanced financial-modeling expertise: DCF, LBO, JV waterfalls, sensitivity & Monte-Carlo analyses, IRR/MOIC calculations, and scenario planning
  • • Demonstrated track record supporting complex transactions—debt raises, tax-equity partnerships, or M&A—from term-sheet through close
  • • High fluency in Excel; bonus for SQL, Python, or Power BI skills that accelerate automation and insight generation

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Industry-competitive base salary ($99k–$120k) plus performance bonus and Restricted Stock Units in a hyper-growth climate-tech leader
  • • 401(k) with 100 % company match up to 4 % of salary and employer HSA contributions
  • • Premium health, dental, vision, life, short- & long-term disability, and Teladoc for you and dependents
  • • Paid parental leave, cell-phone reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, and commuter FSA up to $300/month
