- • Sr. Finance Analyst role at Acorns Grow Incorporated focused on enabling strategic and financial decision-making across the company by working directly with the VP of Accounting, Finance and Treasurer and cross-functional teams in product, engineering, marketing, legal, and operations.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include introducing oneself to the organization to understand the product, business model, and financial outlook; equipping product managers and department leaders with monthly insights on business trends; supporting short- and long-term financial plans; assisting in financial reporting and KPI variance analysis; developing and maintaining corporate financial models (annual budgets, forecasts, consolidated cash flows); building KPI frameworks; analyzing product line performance; supporting high-impact decisions such as go-to-market strategy, partnership negotiations, and potential M&A; and creating clear presentations for key stakeholders.
- • Acorns is a remote-first organization offering flexibility to work remotely with optional office access in Irvine, CA and New York, NY; the company is a financial wellness app helping everyday people and families save and invest, having served over 14 million people and facilitated over $25 billion in savings and investments since 2014.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business, or another quantitative field
- • Two or more years of relevant industry experience with financial modeling (e.g., investment banking, private equity, corporate finance)
- • Highly analytical mindset with ability to execute complex financial modeling, analyze raw data, and draw clear conclusions
- • High degree of organization, efficiency, and exceptional attention to detail
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- • Strong sense of ownership, pride of work, and ability to self-start
