- • The Sr. HR Business Partner (Tech) at Included Health, Inc. is a strategic partner responsible for aligning human capital initiatives with the business goals of technical teams, including Engineering, Product, Design & Data (EPDD), Tech Services, and Cyber Security. This role ensures that people strategies are data-informed, proactive, and directly tied to product and technology roadmaps to drive organizational health, leadership effectiveness, and team performance.
- • As a key member of the Talent Acquisition and Operations (TAO) team, the Sr. HRBP reports to the Director, Talent Partner and collaborates with a team of 10 HR professionals supporting all departments across the organization. The role bridges HR expertise with deep technical business acumen to foster high-performing, inclusive, and resilient tech teams.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with engineering and product leaders to design and implement talent strategies that support hiring, retention, development, and succession planning for technical roles.
- • The Sr. HRBP analyzes workforce data, engagement surveys, performance metrics, and turnover trends to identify risks and opportunities, then develops targeted interventions such as stay interviews, career pathing frameworks, and skill-building initiatives.
- • They coach and develop managers on performance management, feedback delivery, conflict resolution, and inclusive leadership practices, ensuring consistency and fairness across technical teams.
- • The role involves leading organizational design efforts, including team restructuring, role clarity initiatives, and career ladder development for engineers, data scientists, designers, and cybersecurity professionals.
- • The Sr. HRBP partners with Learning & Development and Total Rewards to design and roll out technical career development programs, mentorship opportunities, and competency-based growth paths.
- • They support change management during product launches, technology migrations, or organizational shifts by preparing leaders, communicating changes, and monitoring team morale and adoption.
- • The Sr. HRBP contributes to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals by advising on equitable hiring practices, promotion equity, and belonging initiatives within technical teams.
- • They participate in HR process improvements, including onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS optimization, ensuring seamless experiences for technical employees.
- • The role includes preparing and presenting HR insights to senior leadership, translating people data into actionable business recommendations that influence product velocity, innovation capacity, and technical talent retention.
- • The Sr. HRBP stays current on emerging trends in tech talent markets, competitor practices, and evolving work models (remote/hybrid) to advise on competitive positioning and employer branding within the tech space.

🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner supporting technical, engineering, or product teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- • Proven ability to translate business strategy into people initiatives using data, workforce analytics, and HR metrics to drive measurable outcomes in retention, engagement, and performance.
- • Strong coaching and influencing skills, with experience developing managers and leaders in technical domains on performance management, feedback, and inclusive leadership.
- • Experience with organizational design, career pathing, and succession planning for technical roles such as software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and cybersecurity specialists.
- • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, Lever) and HR process optimization, including onboarding, performance cycles, and compensation administration.
- • Demonstrated commitment to DEI, with experience designing or supporting equitable hiring, promotion, and belonging initiatives in technical teams.
