- ⢠The Sr. Instructional Designer in the Success Enablement Group leads strategic learning initiatives that drive performance improvement and align with enterprise KPIs, supporting organizational transformation and employee development across The Hartford.
- ⢠Day to day, the role involves consulting with business leaders to design learning solutions, facilitating train-the-trainer sessions, applying adult learning theory and eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise), managing LMS platforms (e.g., Workday Learning), creating performance support content, leveraging learning analytics via Power BI or Tableau, and managing project timelines to ensure alignment with business goals.
- ⢠The team is part of Strategic Shared Services, operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment where collaboration across functions is essential to deliver enterprise-wide learning transformation and support employee growth and career progression.
- ⢠In this role, the individual can deepen expertise in instructional design, change management, and learning analytics; influence business strategy; gain visibility in high-impact initiatives; and advance skills in LMS administration, data visualization, and performance consulting while contributing to measurable organizational outcomes.
đŻ Requirements
- ⢠Minimum of 5 yearsâ experience in a corporate learning organization
- ⢠Bachelorâs degree in Instructional Design or related field, or equivalent business experience
- ⢠Excellent performance consulting, facilitation, and project management skills
- ⢠Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- ⢠Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and e-learning software
- ⢠Working understanding of adult learning theory
- ⢠Proficiency in ADDIE design methodology
- ⢠Effective relationship-building and collaboration skills in a corporate environment
