📋 Description

• Serve as the primary administrator for Okta, implementing SSO applications, managing user onboarding/offboarding workflows, and building automation using Okta Workflows and Zapier.
• Own SaaS spend optimization across Zapier’s portfolio, identifying unused licenses, duplicate tools, and tier mismatches to reduce costs and maximize ROI.
• Develop and maintain automated reporting dashboards that surface SaaS spend trends, renewal risks, and optimization opportunities for leadership and finance teams.
• Partner with Finance and department owners to create data-driven strategies for SaaS investment alignment and cost efficiency.
• Design and deploy automation workflows to eliminate manual IT tasks, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and tool integrations via API.
• Provide tier-2 IT support triage for global employees, resolving complex issues and building long-term automation solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage end-to-end user account lifecycle across critical SaaS platforms including Google Workspace, Jira, Slack, 1Password, Zoom, and dozens of other tools.
• Collaborate with the IT and Engineering teams to enhance and standardize the employee Mac experience across Zapier’s fully macOS-based fleet.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT infrastructure, tooling, and processes to scale with Zapier’s growth while maintaining reliability and security.
• Act as a service owner for IT systems, ensuring high availability, clear documentation, and proactive maintenance of critical infrastructure components.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly and effectively through written channels, as Zapier operates as a 100% remote company with writing as the primary mode of collaboration.
• Build trust and strong relationships across departments by delivering reliable, user-centered IT services that enhance productivity and reduce friction.
• Balance multiple high-priority projects with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks based on impact, urgency, and scalability.
• Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency by automating repetitive tasks and creating scalable processes that evolve with organizational needs.
• Stay current with emerging IT tools, automation techniques, and security best practices to ensure Zapier’s infrastructure remains modern and secure.
• Adhere to Zapier’s Code of Conduct and commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equitable practices in all interactions and decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of direct hands-on experience in roll-out, maintenance, and support of expanding IT infrastructure
• Proven experience administering Okta for SSO, user lifecycle management, and workflow automation
• Demonstrated expertise in SaaS spend optimization, license management, and financial partnership for tooling costs
• Strong proficiency in automation tools and API-based integrations to eliminate manual IT processes
• Excellent written communication skills for a fully remote, async-first work environment
• Experience managing and supporting a macOS-based enterprise fleet
