- • As a Sr. Lead AI Engineer at Coupa Software Inc., you will play a pivotal role in building the foundational harness that powers supplier agents within Coupa’s AI-driven total spend management platform. This role is critical to enabling intelligent automation, prediction, and prescription of business decisions that improve operating margins for global enterprises.
- • Day to day, you will design and implement the skill framework, tool layer wrapping Coupa APIs, sandboxed execution environment, audit and replay logging, and evaluation pipelines. You will also own the cloud infrastructure responsible for deploying, configuring, and securing the platform in production, starting as an individual contributor and rapidly evolving into a technical leader shaping the architecture.
- • You will join a collaborative, transparent, and innovative team at Coupa, a company trusted by millions of buyers and suppliers worldwide, where your work directly impacts global clients through data-driven AI systems powered by trillions of dollars of spend data.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to own and shape a core AI infrastructure system from the ground up, deepen your expertise in applied AI and cloud-native platforms, and grow into a technical leader influencing the direction of Coupa’s AI capabilities at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong background in applied AI or machine learning engineering with experience building production-grade AI systems
- • Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, including deployment, configuration, and security of AI platforms
- • Experience with API integration, sandboxed execution environments, and evaluation pipelines for AI models
- • Ability to partner with technical leads on architecture and rapidly evolve into a leadership role in system design
- • Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, tooling, or similar platforms that enable autonomous or semi-autonomous AI workflows
