  • • Lead a founding team of Enterprise Account Managers responsible for nurturing, retaining, and growing Vanta’s largest customers in a rapidly expanding customer base.
  • • Hire, develop, and coach a high-performing team of Account Managers focused on customer value, accountability, and results-driven performance.
  • • Contribute to the design of Vanta’s upmarket Account Management strategy, including value delivery, expansion strategies, and renewal motions.
  • • Define playbooks and drive team achievement of key KPIs such as expansion pipeline generation, expansion win rate, gross retention rate, and net retention rate.
  • • Deliver accurate weekly forecasts for retention and expansion performance across your customer portfolio.
  • • Drive adoption of core AM competencies including portfolio prioritization, account planning, renewal risk management, and value-based customer expansion.
  • • Develop enablement programs to ensure team expertise in Vanta’s products, the GRC space, and AM sales skills.
  • • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, and Recruiting to represent customer needs and achieve team goals.
  • • Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and contribute to transformational change as a key leader in executing Vanta’s upmarket strategy.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience leading quota-carrying, customer-facing teams, preferably in Account Management or full-life cycle sales functions.
  • • Proven history of achieving personal and team targets through effective leadership and coaching.
  • • Experience managing Mid-Market and Enterprise customers with complex requirements and multiple stakeholders across technical and non-technical roles.
  • • Demonstrated ability to establish executive-level relationships, navigate issues and escalations, and balance customer and business needs.
  • • Strong critical thinking and clear communication skills.
  • • Ability to engage effectively across internal teams including Product, Operations, Legal, and Customer Success to solve customer and team challenges.
  • • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead teams through change.
  • • Deep curiosity of emerging technologies and enthusiasm for cybersecurity.
  • • Natural affinity for problem-solving and making a large impact.
  • • Open to using AI responsibly to amplify skills and improve efficiency and impact.
  • • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
