📋 Description

• As a Sr Manager Commercial Operations and Market Access at Dexcom, you will lead the strategic planning, market access, and commercial execution of Dexcom’s diabetes medical technology portfolio in Ireland, playing a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding patient access to life-changing continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems, and ensuring operational excellence across the Irish market. Your work will directly contribute to Dexcom’s mission of improving human health by empowering people with diabetes to take control of their condition through innovative biosensing technology.
• Day to day, you will develop and execute the commercial strategy for Ireland aligned with Dexcom’s EMEA and global objectives; lead forecasting, territory planning, and performance tracking to ensure delivery of revenue and market share targets; collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Finance to align strategic priorities and resource allocation; oversee execution of commercial plans such as product launches, pricing strategies, and channel development; build and maintain strategic partnerships with distributors, pharmacy networks, and clinical stakeholders; and ensure operational readiness across supply chain, trade, and demand planning functions.
• You will also own and evolve the market access strategy for Ireland, including engagement with the HSE, PCRS, and private healthcare stakeholders; drive initiatives to secure reimbursement, tender wins, and policy alignment for Dexcom’s CGM technologies; lead advocacy efforts to expand access for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes populations, including sub-group strategies such as T2 Adult ONE+, paediatrics, and MDI; and partner with clinical and policy stakeholders to support value-based care initiatives and local outcomes projects.
• The Commercial Operations and Market Access team at Dexcom Ireland is a strategic, high-impact unit embedded within the broader EMEA commercial organization, working closely with global headquarters to translate corporate strategy into localized market success while adapting to the unique nuances of the Irish healthcare system.
• In this role, you will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in healthcare market access and commercial strategy within a fast-growing, innovative medtech leader; shape national diabetes care policy and reimbursement pathways; lead and develop high-performing cross-functional teams; and gain visibility into global commercial operations while making a tangible difference in the lives of people living with diabetes across Ireland.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial leadership within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medtech sectors
• Strong expertise in market access, strategic planning, and commercial execution
• Deep understanding of the Irish healthcare system, reimbursement pathways (HSE/PCRS), and procurement frameworks
• Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and delivering growth in complex environments
• 5-8 years of people management experience
• Bonus: Experience in diabetes care or CGM technology
