  • • The Sr Manager, Strategic Initiatives role at Openly Inc. is a high-impact position within the Product & Strategy organization, responsible for identifying, planning, and executing initiatives that shape the company’s long-term trajectory. This role is critical to Openly’s mission of rebuilding insurance from the ground up by enhancing customer experience through data-driven innovation and cross-functional collaboration.
  • • Day to day, the Sr Manager will drive intricate, time-critical projects by gathering organizational context, identifying impacts, and developing prioritized frameworks for resolution. They will cultivate cross-functional partnerships across sales, service, claims, marketing, product, finance, and technology to proactively identify operational opportunities, support KPI setting and tracking, manage end-to-end special projects, employ market research and competitive intelligence, and push process improvements to drive scalable operations.

They will gain deep exposure to insurance operations, data-informed decision-making, and enterprise-wide initiative execution, positioning them for continued growth in strategic management and operations leadership.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 5 years of personal lines insurance (home and/or auto) experience required, ideally with a focus on strategy and analytics
  • • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • • History of building relationships across teams to define impacts of new initiatives on operational processes
  • • A proven track record of driving alignment across multiple stakeholder groups to build consensus in a fast-paced environment
  • • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate qualitative and quantitative insights to stakeholders
  • • Experience in fast paced environments is a plus
