- • As a Sr. Palo Alto Engineer at Optiv Security Inc., you will design, implement, and maintain scalable security solutions using Palo Alto Networks technologies, including firewalls, Prisma Access, Prisma Cloud, and Cortex XSOAR. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure network architecture, automate policy enforcement, and provide technical leadership in cloud and on-premises environments. You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to security best practices, and support compliance initiatives such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks. Your role involves proactive threat hunting, incident response, and continuous improvement of security posture across hybrid infrastructures.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum six (5) years of professional Information Security experience in a consulting, vendor, or enterprise-level role.
- • Hands-on experience implementing Palo Alto Networks solutions, including Prisma Access, Prisma Cloud, and optionally Prisma Cortex.
- • Hands on experience with cloud providers specifically AWS, Azure, and optionally GCP.
- • Current PCNSE certification required for this role.
- • U.S. Citizenship required. This position also requires a CJIS Background Check and Fingerprinting as part of the onboarding process.
