- • As a Sr. Payment Posting Associate at Rula Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity of our mental healthcare services by managing accurate payment posting, reconciliation, and credit balance processes that directly support our mission to destigmatize and expand access to mental healthcare.
- • You will independently manage complex payment posting, reconciliation, and refund workflows, investigate discrepancies, monitor payment and credit activity, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve revenue cycle challenges that impact collections and financial accuracy.
- • You will partner with internal teams and external vendor partners—including payer portals like Availity—to support end-to-end financial operations, leveraging tools such as Salesforce, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and EHRs to drive efficiency and process improvements.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include verifying insurance AR, processing payments from commercial, EAP, Medicare, and Medicaid sources, identifying root causes of payment issues, and contributing to workflow enhancements that support the expansion of electronic payments and remittances.
- • You will create clear, concise deliverables such as training materials and process documents for both technical and non-technical audiences, helping to standardize and scale best practices across the Financial Operations team.
- • You will apply strong analytical thinking and prioritization skills to anticipate future needs, not just resolve current issues, actively contributing to process optimization in a fast-paced, remote-first healthcare startup environment.

- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in healthcare revenue cycle management, gain exposure to diverse insurance billing types, and build leadership-ready skills in process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven problem solving—positioning you for advancement within Rula’s growing Financial Operations team.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of diverse revenue cycle management experience, including verification of benefits, insurance AR, and/or payment posting in a healthcare setting
- • 3+ years of experience in billing, collections, or an adjacent role contributing to end-to-end transformation (process, technology, and people) at a healthcare organization
- • Proven ability to improve and optimize processes using tools such as Salesforce, AMD, Google Suite/Microsoft Office, and payer portals (e.g., Availity) to drive efficiency
- • Expertise applying structure, prioritization, and effective communication to solve problems and anticipate future needs
- • Familiarity with writing clear, concise deliverables (e.g., training materials, process documents) for technical and non-technical audiences
