  • • Provides presales solution architecture services for materially significant and strategically important clients and client groups, delivering tailored technical solutions aligned with client needs and Unisys offerings.
  • • Leads the design and development of complex, multi-technology solutions that integrate emerging technologies to address evolving client requirements.
  • • Develops and delivers high-level presentations, demonstrations, and technical demonstrations to senior-level executives and decision-makers, clearly articulating the business and technical value of proposed solutions.
  • • Collaborates closely with sales, product development, and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives, technical feasibility, and optimal client outcomes.
  • • Oversees and contributes to the preparation of comprehensive technical responses for RFPs and RFIs, ensuring submissions are competitive, accurate, and technically robust.
  • • Evaluates potential technical, operational, and compliance risks associated with proposed solutions, ensuring adherence to operational standards, security protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • • Acts as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing ongoing counsel on technical and operational strategies to foster long-term client relationships.
  • • Translates complex technical capabilities into client-centric business outcomes, bridging the gap between enterprise technology and strategic business goals.
  • • Maintains deep knowledge of Unisys’s portfolio of products, services, and technologies to position offerings effectively in competitive markets.
  • • Ensures solution architectures are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices across cloud, infrastructure, digital transformation, and enterprise systems.
  • • Works independently across multiple geographies and time zones, adapting solution approaches to meet regional regulatory, cultural, and operational contexts.
  • • Serves as a subject matter expert in presales engagements, mentoring junior architects and supporting internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • • Participates in strategic client engagements from initial opportunity identification through solution design and proposal submission, owning the technical narrative throughout the sales cycle.
  • • Leverages industry trends and competitive intelligence to enhance solution positioning and maintain Unisys’s market leadership in enterprise technology solutions.
  • • Ensures all client-facing documentation, proposals, and presentations reflect Unisys’s brand standards, technical accuracy, and professionalism.

🎯 Requirements

  • • BA/BS degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • • Master’s degree preferred
  • • Proven track record in presales solution architecture for enterprise clients
  • • Experience developing complex, multi-technology solutions incorporating emerging technologies
  • • Demonstrated ability to present and articulate technical value to senior executives and decision-makers
  • • Experience preparing competitive and technically sound responses to RFPs and RFIs
